Version 1.1

Released on 1/19/2005, Cloud Wiki version 1.1 fixes a few rendering issues that have been encountered with Microsoft Internet Exploder and introduce a couple frequently requested markup items. Version 1.1 also now provides some functionality for migration to new server versions.

Changes introduced in Version 1.1:

• Cloud Wiki now stores the server version in the database, using the major-version and minor-version settings. This allows newer versions of Cloud Wiki to detect old database content and require that an administrator migrate the database to the new version or use an older version of the server.
• The cloud-wiki will now handle missing database files more gracefully.
• Microsoft Interent Explorer does not always handle the apostrophe entity, especially when it occurs in a HTML body. We have altered all generated tags in Cloud Wiki to use double quotes to denote attribute values. Cloud Wiki should not generate ' entities anymore.
• Heading and Editorial line modes have been added to Cloud Wiki Markup, and the default stylesheet has been adjusted to match.

Migration from Version 1.0 to Version 1.1:

1) Stop the old server, using cloud-wiki stop
2) Extract and install the new server.
3) Invoke cloud-wiki migrate to empty content caches and update minor-version and major-version settings on the database.
